The London Santa Claus Parade provides support for many charitable organizations.
Last year 14,742 lbs of food was collected for the London Food Bank and nearly 2,700 new Teddy Bears were donated to the London Salvation Army..
Donations were also given to Shriner organizations which support Children in Hospitals across Canada. Woman's Rural Resource Centre which provides support services for women and children impacted by abuse.
And, My Sisters Place which provides support for woman that deal with a variety of issues such as trauma, mental illness, addiction, poverty, abuse, isolation and physical health issues.

The London Santa Claus Parade has over 100,000 live spectators in attendance and receives over 50,000 website visitors .

The organizers are volunteers that spend countless hours away from family to produce a parade for the children of London. The parade is not Government funded and relies solely on corporate sponsorships and community participation to survive - Sponsors and Participants are still needed.

Do you want to be a Clown in the London Santa Claus Parade?
Reserved for students currently in High School
Students wishing to be clowns will meet at Kellogg's Lane @ 4:00 p.m.
Clowns will sign in and will receive a costume
Clowns will be assigned to 1 of 10 sections.
When the parade begins, @ 6:00p.m. Clowns will walk down the parade route entertaining the crowd
At the end of the parade, Clowns will return their costumes to our parade committee
Clowns will receive 5 hours of community service
Also, please dress warm and please eat prior to 4:00p.m

INFORMATION FOR MARSHALS:Reserved for students currently in College or University
All the Marshals are meeting at the Thames Valley Education Centre on Dundas and Highbury @ 3:00 p.m.
Marshals will receive a security vest and a toque (you get to keep the toque) and they be assigned to 1 of 10 sections.
Floats will begin arriving at 4:00 p.m. off of Highbury and will check in with our Lead Marshal, Al Green.
Al will ask one of the Marshals in each section to escort the float into it's proper set up location
When the parade begins, @ 6:00p.m. Marshals will walk beside the floats down the parade route
Marshals duties is basically to make sure no kids jump onto the street to grab candy
At the end of the parade, a Marshal will return the security vests to our Parade committee
If required, we have a bus parked on Rideout that will transport Marshals back to the Thames Valley Education Centre
If you have anyone that you would like to walk with during the parade, please arrive and sign in together with Al Green @ 3:00pm
Also, please dress warm and please eat prior to 3:00p.m
